Follow the steps below to apply as a Correspondent Volunteer.

1.   Fill Out an Online Application

• Click to begin an application
• Click to resume an existing application

2.   Submit your $500 deposit*

• Click here to pay online with a credit card.
• OR send a check to:

* The deposit is refundable up until the Volunteer is interviewed and assigned to a Project

3.   Submit Supplemental Application Paperwork

• Submit Immediately: Application forms Part One (download pdf)
• Submit Later: Confidential Health Form II (download pdf) *Must be completed by a doctor
• Optional: Financial Assistance Application (download pdf)

        (Part One of application can be submitted separately from the Confidential Health Form II)

         After completing the paperwork submit by:

• Scanning and emailing to dpacheco@amigoslink.org
• Faxing to (713) 782-9267
• Mailing to the address above

4.   Review and Complete Additional Information & Forms

• Immunizations List
• Parent Permission to Travel Form - Due May 1 (Must be completed within 60 days of travel!)
• Confidential Health Form III - Due May 1
  This must be completed even if there have been no changes to health information.

5. Volunteers Assigned to Paraguay ONLY:
     Complete all pieces of the following paperwork and submit by March 30. Complete only the application for your specific project.

• Visa Application Checklist
• Parent Permission to Travel Form - must be completed to obtain Paraguay visa, and then again within 60 days of travel
• Paraguari, Paraguay visa application (8 week project)
• San Pedro, Paraguay visa application (6 week project)
