Correspondent Volunteer Application


Recruiting has closed for the summer of 2010. Please check back at the conclusion of this summer for volunteer opportunities in 2011

    4.  Submit Deposit

    You may submit the $1,000 deposit in the form of a personal check made out to "Amigos de las Américas" or pay it with a credit card through the online application process. AMIGOS does not accept American Express or Discover for deposit payments. You may also call us at (800) 231-7796 to pay the deposit. The deposit is applied toward your Participation Fee and is fully refundable if you are not accepted to the program. The 2010 Correspondent Volunteer Participation Fee is $4,600.

    Once we have received your application, we will schedule a phone interview with you, assign you to a project and send you training materials.

    Please send by FEDEX, UPS, postal delivery confirmation or express mail for tracking purposes.

    Application Deadline

    Please note that all Correspondent Volunteer applications and interviews are done on a rolling basis. Qualified applicants are notified of their acceptance upon successfully completing an application and acceptance interview.
